Initially everything was dreamy, and I was charmed by the Uruguayans' friendliness and courtesy. Then I started building a house and the road contractor walked out leaving the access road half built, the builder turned out to be a notorious crook, and my architect teamed up with him behind my back to engineer huge cost overruns. So I swung the other way: THEY WERE ALL CROOKS. Now I like Uruguay a lot but don't think it is Paradise - just a great place to live.<BR/><BR/>Please, do keep up the blog.
